How the process works
- 1
Claim your profile
You must first claim your profile to file a dispute. Search for your name, find your profile, and complete the identity verification process.
- 2
Find the account
On your claimed profile page, locate the account you wish to dispute. Each account has a "Contest this account" link visible to the profile subject.
- 3
Submit your dispute
Select a reason, provide a detailed explanation (minimum 50 characters), and sign a sworn declaration. Your dispute is submitted immediately.
- 4
Review within 48 hours
Our moderation team assesses the account against our Content Guidelines. We do not remove accounts simply because the subject disagrees — the account must violate our guidelines.
- 5
Outcome notification
You will be notified of the decision. We may uphold the account, add a correction note, or remove it. The reviewer is notified if the account is removed.
