If someone has posted an account about you on HonestRemarks, you have the right to respond publicly, dispute accounts you believe are inaccurate, and keep your professional details up to date.

Search for your name to locate your profile. Once you find it, click “Claim this profile” to begin the verification process.

Post a public response to any account. Your reply appears directly below the account in a green card with equal prominence.

Contest accounts you believe violate our Content Guidelines. Our team reviews every dispute within 48 hours.

Update your details

Keep your institution, employer, and field up to date so accounts are correctly attributed.

How verification works

To claim a profile you need to verify that you are the person described. We offer three methods:

  • Institutional email. Provide an email address from the institution or employer listed on your profile. We cross-reference the domain.
  • LinkedIn profile. Link your LinkedIn profile. Our team matches it to your HonestRemarks profile within 2–3 business days.
  • Government-issued ID. Email a photo of a passport, driving licence, or national ID to verify@honestremarks.com. Reviewed in 2–3 business days. Your ID is deleted immediately after verification.

Your identity stays private. Claiming your profile does not reveal your identity to reviewers or make your email address public. Privacy Policy
